First Bloom
Four Weeks, And At The End Of Them You Are Open.
First Bloom is your opening month, walked beside you. It runs as an atelier rather than a course — small, live, and built around what you are actually making.
Two Roads In, Depending On Where You Are Standing.
You already know what you have, and you want a hand opening it properly. Or you know you want a sidebloom and it has no name yet. Both roads end in the same place: open, listed, and paid.
The Opening
For when you already know what you have. Four weeks, and the fourth one ends with money in your account. Its atelier is about standing out — you already know what you do, so the work is finding what makes you unlike anybody else doing it.
- Week OneGround ItYour ABN, the insurance your work actually needs, the association or provider number that unlocks health fund rebates, and your employment contract read properly by somebody who knows what to look for.
- Week TwoPlace ItWhere the work happens — a room, a chair, a table, a kitchen, a client's own home, or your front room on a quiet evening. What each choice costs, and what each one asks of you.
- Week ThreePrice ItYour rate, your deposits, your travel, your cancellations. Written down once, in your own words, so you never have to argue any of it again.
- Week FourOpen ItYour listing, your photographs, your booking road, your first enquiries — and the day the first payment lands.
The Atelier: What Makes You Unlike Anybody Else.
Live, small, and running through all four weeks. Eleven women do wedding hair in your suburb. The question is never whether you are good — it is what somebody would say about you afterwards that they would say about none of them.
- What People Already SayThe compliment you have heard so often you stopped hearing it. It is almost always the thing, and it is almost always the last thing a woman thinks to mention.
- Who You Are Actually ForBrides who are terrified. Women whose mothers have died. People who hate having their photograph taken. Naming her makes every other decision easier.
- Your One LineYou leave with a sentence somebody would repeat about you, in your own words. It goes at the top of your listing and it does the selling on your behalf.
The Finding
For the woman who wants a sidebloom and has not named it yet. Its atelier is the whole of it — four weeks spent working out what you are actually passionate about and what you want to do with it, ending in one real job, paid in real money, before you build a single further thing. The Opening follows the month after, included.
- Week OneGather ItWhat people already come to you for, what you would do at midnight for love, and what somebody near you would pay for tomorrow. All three, on one page.
- Week TwoChoose ItOne. Chosen by you, out loud, with the others written down and kept rather than thrown away.
- Week ThreeShape ItWhat it is, who it is for, what it costs and how long it takes. Small enough to fit beside your job and real enough to charge for.
- Week FourTry ItOne paying job. One. Money in, lesson learnt, and a decision made on evidence rather than on hope.
The Atelier: What Is Mine To Do.
Most women arrive saying they have no idea, and leave surprised it took four weeks to say out loud what they already knew. The work is permission as much as discovery.
- What You Would Do At MidnightThe work that stops feeling like work. Written down without deciding yet whether anybody would pay for it.
- What You Are Already Doing FreeYou have a list, and it is longer than you think. Somebody is already coming to you for something.
- The One You ChooseChosen by you, out loud, with the others written down and kept rather than thrown away. They are next year, never a road closed.
What Is Waiting Behind Every Door
The atelier, your listing, the Lending Table, the Cover Network, the collaboration clusters, your dashboards, and the women who have already done what you are about to do. The doors differ. What waits behind them is the same.
Then $29 a month, whichever door you came through. Or $290 for the year, paid once, with two months on us.
Four Weeks Is Short.
A Sidebloom Is Not.
